Medical weight loss, supervised by the people who prescribe it

GLP-1 medication is not a subscription box. It is a prescription that changes how your body handles hunger and blood sugar, and it needs a licensed provider watching dosing, side effects and what you are actually eating. The supervision is the program. Injecting yourself is the easy part of it.

Weight loss and wellness at New Image Works

Semaglutide

A GLP-1 agonist that slows gastric emptying and quiets the food noise most diets never address. Dosing starts low and escalates on a schedule your provider sets, because moving too fast is how people end up nauseated and quitting in week three.

Tirzepatide

Dual agonist, acting on GIP as well as GLP-1. In head to head trials it generally produces more weight loss than semaglutide, and it is the usual next step for people who plateau. Same escalation discipline applies.

What supervision actually means

Regular check-ins, dose adjustment based on how you respond rather than a fixed calendar, and a provider who will tell you to slow down. Muscle loss is the real risk on these medications, so protein intake and resistance training get discussed whether you want to discuss them or not.

IV vitamin infusion

Hydration and nutrient delivery straight to the bloodstream, which matters more than usual when appetite is suppressed and you are eating less of everything, including the useful parts. Also booked on its own for recovery and immune support.

What happens after

The uncomfortable question nobody asks at the first appointment. Weight tends to return when these medications stop, so the program plans a maintenance dose or a taper from the beginning rather than treating the end as somebody else's problem.

Questions people actually ask

Do I qualify?

That depends on your BMI, your medical history and what else you are taking. A provider reviews all of it before writing anything, and some people are told no.

How fast will I lose weight?

One to two pounds a week is the sustainable range once you are at an effective dose. Anyone promising faster than that is selling something.

What are the side effects?

Nausea, constipation and fatigue are the common ones, and most of them track back to escalating the dose too quickly or not drinking enough water. Serious effects are rare and are exactly why the program is supervised.

Is it covered by insurance?

New Image Works is a cash-pay practice for these programs. Patient financing is available, and pricing is discussed up front rather than after you have committed.

Can I do this and body contouring?

Yes, in that order. Reach a stable weight first, then treat what is left with CoolSculpting Elite or CoolTone.

Next you might want injectables, which is the category most often combined with this one. To see where treatment happens, every clinic has its own page with hours, parking and photographs.

In person is a $100 deposit applied toward same-day or future treatment within one month. Virtual is $25. Either way you leave with a written plan and a real number against it.
